Productbeschrijving

Tender and violent, terrifying and comic, The English takes the arrows and bullets of its genre only to twist them into a uniquely compelling parable on gender, race, love and power. It is a high-octane chase romance in which an Englishwoman, Cornelia Locke and an American Indian, Eli Whipp, come together to cross a barren and tumultuously violent mythic-landscape of 1890 Mid-America in order to right the horrifying wrongs of an unexpectedly shared past.
