The Fox Box is een livealbum met acht cd’s van de Allman Brothers Band, waarop hun energieke southernrockoptredens zijn vastgelegd tijdens een uitverkochte reeks van drie avonden in het Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta in 2004. Deze geremasterde set, uitgebracht in 2017, toont de band op hun hoogtepunt, met oprichters Gregg Allman op toetsen en zang, drummers Butch Trucks en Jaimoe, percussionist Marc Quinones, gitaristen Warren Haynes en Derek Trucks, en bassist Oteil Burbridge, met speciale gasten die de jams versterken.Tijdens de shows speelde de groep 53 nummers met slechts één herhaling, waarmee ze hun improvisatietalent en uitgebreide repertoire benadrukten in een viering van muzikaliteit in plaats van melancholie, opgedragen aan Butch Trucks. Oorspronkelijk uitgebracht via het Instant Live-programma van de band met minimale verpakking, biedt de editie uit 2017 verbeterde audio en een uitgebreide verpakking, die een band laat zien die in verbazingwekkend goede vorm verkeert na intensief toeren en hun laatste studioalbum.
